Due to the booming tourism industry hotels coming up in record numbers. The demand for trained professionals in the service sector has grown manifold. Due to the excellent growth; Today pay packages in the sector have also gone up substantially. Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Hospitality services is an ideal training course for students.

So National Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism (NIHMT) was estblished in the year 2005-2006 and is one of the pioneer institute affiliated to Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar, with an ultimate objective and mission to provide & fullfill the future demand in hospitality sector. National Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism is also competent to produce hotel management professional with a different attitude. Our mission is like a on going process to achieve the possible target in the field of tourism, hotel and hospitality sector.

Coverage & Pedogogy.

Training is imparted in four areas : Front office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverages and kitchen. Students are also thaught law, economics, sales and marketing, accounts, management and a foreign language. Programs at NIHMT is affiliated to Utkal University of Culture and is recognized by Govt. of Orissa.

NIHMT promises to deliver the richness of the content set by the University. NIHMT plans to carve out a niche for itself in the clutter of around 150 private hotel management schools in India.
