National Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism(NIHMT) provides Bachelors Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Services (BDTHS).
Eligibility Criteria
Should have passed Higher Secondary(+2) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized Board/Council.
Rules & Regulation(Academic)
The Institute maintains a strict vigil on each student w.r.t. discipline. Any deviation from the standards laid will be very seriously viewed.
Any student responsible for damaging the property of the Institute is required to pay a penalty fee along with the replacement cost.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus and hostel. Any student found indulging in such activities will face serious punishment and the matter may be referred to law enforcing agencies.
The governing body of the Institute reserve all rights of modification in the structure when ever they feel that a change is necessary all persons related to the Institute shall abide by changes at all times.
Failing to pay the course fees in due time will result in striking out the name of the student from the Institute's Rolls. Late fee / re-admission fees will be charged as per Institute and / or University norms.
Fees once paid will not be refunded in any case.

The Institute has an expert team of faculties who have enough experience in the hospitality sector. The institute tries to keep a very close connection with the hospitality sector and brings in a lot practioners \ visiting professors to enrich the understanding of students.

And all the faculty members are well trained experienced and fully dedicated in the field of education and considered as expert in the hospitality sector.
STUDY TOUR
Students are taken cities like calcutta, Mumbai, Chenai, Hydrabad etc to visit 5 star hotels, Bakeries, Industrial Canteen, Automatic lundrys and flight cattering. The instructers and faculties assocates with students to make them understand about the different department of hotels on operation. So they have as complete exposure about the work procedures of a 5 star hotel, commercial procedure in bakery, canteen operation in big industrial houses and the sophisticated cattering followed to mat flight catring. The practical knowledge of exposoure gives a boosting to each students before they joined in industrial training programme sheduled for six months.
